Small Business Internet Results Anti-Spam Policy

Small Business Internet Results is committed to permission-based email marketing practices, and as a result has established this no-tolerance Anti-Spam Policy. 

Spam

Spam is commercial email or unsolicited bulk email, including “junk mail”, which has not been requested by the recipient.  It is intrusive and often irrelevant or offensive, and it wastes valuable resources.  Spam messages are the opposite of permission-based email, which are normally anticipated, personal, relevant and/or associated with a pre-existing business or personal relationship.  Inappropriate newsgroup activities, consisting of excessive posting of the same materials to several newsgroups, are also deemed to be spam.

Spam Policy

Small Business Internet Results  does not engage in any spam practices and company policy strictly prohibits activities that construed as spam.  The company does not engage in the transmission, distribution or delivery of any unsolicited bulk or unsolicited commercial e-mail.

Email Policy

Small Business Internet Results may from time to time collect voluntarily supplied email addresses during normal operations and interactions with visitors, members and customers.  All emails sent by Small Business Internet Results include opt out provisions allowing recipients to easily remove their email address from future communications.   Collected email addresses may be used from time to time for:

• Collecting information to improve our products and services.
• Promotional emails about new products, special offers or other information which we think you may find interesting using the email address which you have provided.
• From time to time, we may also contact you for market research purposes to assist us in customizing the website and product offerings to better serve your interests.
• Email generated by Small Business Internet Results is limited to subject matters related to the topics or products for which the initial email was provided.   Small Business Internet Results will not send email on unrelated to expressed purposes.

Unsubscription

Every email created by Small Business Internet Results that is not an individual response to a specific enquiry, transaction or activity contains an “unsubscribe link”.  Subscriber lists will automatically be adjusted to eliminate the prospect of sending unwanted email to any visitors using the link and requesting to be unsubscribed.  Additionally, where appropriate, Small Business Internet Results provides a web-based option where any person on a subscriber list has the option of unsubscribing on the Small Business Internet Results web site. 

Spam Prevention

Small Business Internet Results conducts a thorough investigation of all recommended products and links included on this web site including spam policies and practices.  Best effort is made to insure compliance to Small Business Internet Results's spam policies before including references on our web site.  Recommendations and links will be promptly removed upon discovery of any spam policy violation.

Spam Restricting Laws

While spam laws very from jurisdiction to jurisdiction,  this Anti-Spam Policy has been developed to conform to the highest commercially reasonable standards. 

Specific Avoided Practices

Small Business Internet Results expressly will not engage in practices that contain false headers, false or misleading information, hide the true origin, name or path of the email sender or make it appear that the third party was the point of origin of the email without permission and clear indication of the third party relationship.  Email  will not be sent to non-specific addresses, to mailing lists or distribution lists, which then send indirectly to various other email addresses, purchased lists of any type, or to a third party’s email address or domain name without the party’s consent.  Email will not use or contain invalid or non-existent domain names.

Reporting Spam

If you believe that you have received spam from or through Small Business Internet Results's facilities, please send a complaint from your email account along with the unsolicited email, with completed header, to abuse@smallbusinessinternetresults.com  Please provide any other information that you believe may help us in our investigation.  Small Business Internet Results does not investigate or take any action based on “anonymous” spam complaints.
